Meet me in the garden
Meet Bistrot Bizerca. You won’t find a place more charming and intimate than this in Cape Town. Owners are husband-and-wife-team Laurent and Cyrillia, combining forces to deliver on traditional French inspirations, also allowing in heavy influences from Australian cuisine. There are only six permanent dishes on the menu, with a daily chalkboard listings for seasonal additions. The menu takes its cues from the seasons, because, according to Laurent, sourcing the best and freshest ingredients is what it’s all about. Their must-try signature dish of the moment is the Nordic salmon with goat cheese lit up with a soy-ginger dressing.
The wine list at Bistrot Bizerca is carefully selected, the menu is fresh; seasonal, highlights of brilliant flavors delivered by a highly-skilled staff aiming to please. We have to say, we do not fully agree on the owner’s classification as a bistro, as this can easily mistaken for fine dining, but despite the humility, absolutely recommended!
