Flax & Kale is located in the bustling El Raval neighbourhood and the latest project of Teresa Carles, a pioneer on the veggie scene in Spain. This stylish and trendy place is inspired by some of New York’s SoHo destinations, and offers a delicious vegan and vegetarian menu, even for the doubting among us.
So if you are in the mood for fresh salads, gluten-free pasta, warm dishes or even cold-pressed juices, smoothies and nut milks, Flax & Kale is your place to be. Teresa’s favourite kale salad with mango, avocado, nori seaweed and lime dressing is obligatory discovery eating. For fuller bites, you may try the tuna burger with wasabi mayonnaise – something like a beach vacation between two buns.
