The old building of Fyra has been beautifully transformed to the new and larger GIN, originally having been housed at the Westerstraat. Luckily for us, they’ve kept the cherished Jin soul; the interior stays rugged, the service stays unpretentious. What also remains constant is the formidable kitchen; Jin and his partners-in-crime continue to dazzle us with playful and unconstrained dishes – bright, fresh, seasonal interpretations on east meets west.
Here you’ll find gorgeous combinations of Asian-Western fusions such as Dutch sour beef stew rendang style or Peking quail. Jin has his sights set on the (Michelin) stars and we are confident that he’s headed at the right trajectory – with every dish leaving the kitchen with the glorious precision that would please even the most discerning of institutions. But make sure you have a reservation, because this rising star is bursting brighter by the day.
